Store Offers Complete Range of Automotive and Transmission Repair
Midlothian, IL (March 03, 2019) – The Mr. Transmission/Milex store located at 13572 Murphy Road in Stafford, TX recently underwent a change of ownership that has refreshed the shop’s image while continuing to offer customers in the area the same superior transmission and auto repair services it has for the past 30 years.
Jason Shastri became the new franchise owner of the co-branded store on January 1. Customers will notice improvements to the facility such as new signage and an updated appearance in the waiting area. The store also upgraded its shop floor, computer and phone system while replacing much of the shop’s equipment. In order to support its customers better, Shastri has also hired an experienced sales manager and increased its marketing efforts to promote the store’s overall automotive repair services.
Mr. Transmission/Milex will continue to offer customers in the area a comprehensive selection of automotive repair and maintenance services. Mr. Transmission specializes in repair and installation of a vehicle’s transmission systems and drivetrain components. Milex Complete Auto Care provides customers with preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repair, and radiator and cooling systems and engine repair along with a full range of diagnostic services.
Shastri was born and raised in Malaysia before he relocated to the United States in 2001 when the company he worked for at the time gave him the opportunity to establish operations in California. Shastri has more than 20 years of experience in electronic manufacturing, which includes the oil and gas industry. He and his wife also currently own a Kiddie Academy educational childcare franchise location in Pearland, TX.
“We want to grow with the community here in Stafford and have sustained relationships with our customers,” said Shastri. “We would like to be known as a one-stop shop people can bring their cars and we can provide any kind of service from A to Z. Most importantly, we want to be known for our honest, reliable service, and hopefully that keeps people coming back to us for many years.”
Shastri’s focus is running the business operations of the store, setting goals and helping the franchise grow. Even though he doesn’t have experience in auto repair, Shastri’s engineering and business background gives him a fundamental understanding of the trade. He will rely on his experienced team to execute repair service and help drive the success of the store.
“Jason is good with people, whether it is leading his skilled team at the shop or making sure customers are satisfied with the service they receive,” said Peter Baldine, President of Moran Family of Brands, the franchisor of Mr. Transmission and Milex. “We believe he will continue to provide the same level of customer satisfaction and quality of work established at the Stafford store while also growing the business over the next several years.”
