Co-branded Franchise Store to Offer Complete Range of Auto Care Services

Midlothian, IL (December 28, 2015) – Moran Family of Brands, one of the nation’s leading franchises of general automotive repair, transmission repair and auto accessories, announced the recent opening of their newest franchise location in Winston-Salem, NC. The Mr. Transmission/Milex Complete Auto Care franchise opened in November at 2047 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem.

The Mr. Transmission/Milex co-branded operation will offer area customers a comprehensive selection of automotive repair and maintenance services. The Mr. Transmission brand specializes in repair and installation of a vehicle’s transmission systems and drivetrain components. Milex provides customers with preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repair, and radiator and cooling systems and engine repair along with a full range of diagnostic services.

The Mr. Transmission/Milex local franchise is owned by Mark Griffith. He spent the past 25 years at FedEx, including the previous five years as a senior manager in the Greensboro area. Griffith, who holds an electrical engineering degree, spent five years as a maintenance technician early in his career at FedEx, and has possessed a knowledge and passion for vehicle repair from an early age. Griffith recently decided to get into franchising after seeing his father own two businesses over the years.

“The opening of this Mr. Transmission/Milex auto center will provide vehicle owners in the Triad with a reliable and affordable maintenance solution for their cars,” said Griffith. “We have received a great response since we’ve opened, and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many members of the community and promoting all of the great services we have to offer.”

The Mr. Transmission/Milex store has experienced a steady increase in business in the weeks following its opening in mid-November. Griffith has hired three technicians and one manager, and hopes to add several more technicians to the staff. He anticipates a grand opening for the location in the first quarter of 2016.
