How much does a franchise location cost?
There is a comprehensive investment analysis available in our Franchise Disclosure Document. Estimated start-up costs for a single unit Turbo Tint location: $214,510-$281,400. Estimated start-up costs for a single unit Mr. Transmission/Milex Complete Auto Care location: $228,364-$296,767.
The estimated start-up costs include obtaining a lease, equipment, signage, franchise fee, inventory, and specialists.
Do you provide financing?
We collaborate with third-party lenders to assist with funding needs, including SBA lenders and 401k rollover specialists.
How much money do I need to start?
While loans are available to secure funds for the estimated star-up costs, lenders prefer franchisees to apply some of their cash as a portion of the total loan. There are numerous factors including net worth, credit score, and income that can determine the amount of cash required, however, it is generally about $50,000-$75,000. This money can come from investment or retirement accounts, such as a 401k.
Do I need automotive experience to become a franchisee?
No, we do not require our franchisees to have experience in the automotive industry. Many of our franchisees share a hobby interest or passion for cars, but specific technical knowledge or experience is not required.
What kind of training and support is provided?
Moran Family of Brands offers extensive training involving online, classroom, and field training. Comprehensive on-going support includes marketing, operations, hiring, and technical support.
Am I responsible for finding my location?
No, you are not exclusively responsible for finding your location. We have partnered with a national tenant representative to assist franchisees with market analysis, site selection, demographics, and lease negotiation to help find and secure their ideal location. In addition, we can help assist franchisees during site selection to identify and acquire an existing independent repair shop to convert to one of our franchise brands.
Does Moran Family of Brands have any existing locations (resales) available?
An exit strategy is an important component of business ownership. When you’ve been in the business for years and it’s time to sell, Moran Family of Brands is prepared to assist franchisees with guidance on valuation, market conditions, and finding qualified buyers. Can I buy multiple territories?
Yes, Moran Family of Brands offers single locations, multi-unit opportunities, and area development opportunities.
Do you offer a discount for veterans?
Yes! As VetFran members, we honor those who have served our country. We offer every honorably discharged veteran a discount of $6,750 off the initial franchise fee.
Does Moran Family of Brands help me find and support technicians?
Yes! Moran Family of Brands provides recruitment and on-going technical support for franchisees and their technicians. Technicians have access to one of the strongest technical departments in the industry. Technical software, a video/phone hot-line, digitally accessible bulletins/manuals, and a large network of experienced automotive professionals are available to assist technicians on a daily basis. Through our partnerships, additional hands-on technical training for new or existing technicians is also available.
Can I convert my existing business?
Absolutely! We help business owners implement our tested proven systems and support to increase efficiency and grow their business.
